A vote to confirm Betsy DeVos for secretary of education says you accept that students coming from a lower income don’t deserve opportunities to learn and grow. Charter schools continue to drain funding from public schools.

U.S. Sen. Tim Scott has failed us on many occasions. Enough is enough. He should vote no for Betsy DeVos because she doesn’t have the experience needed for the job.

And when has a lobbyist been good for anyone?
