A Jan. 17 article said upgrading the 475-feet fence at the Governor’s Mansion would cost $320,000. With a 3-foot brick foundation and 3-foot refurbished cast iron fence on top of that, I’m sure it is not inexpensive. But $673.68 per linear foot? Really?
