Letters: Is MOX a job plan for Joe Wilson?

At a recent news conference, U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson gleefully announced a “new day” for the Savannah River Site’s unfinished MOX facility.

Lawsuits are going forward against MOX contractors claiming that they siphoned off millions of dollars, the project is billions of dollars over budget, and there are no customers for the hypothetical “product.” Still, Rep. Wilson would like to sink more tax money into this facility in order to finish it by 2048. Could bringing home the bacon until retirement be the plan?
