Letters: Casinos would reduce tax burden

I hope our Legislature will realize that casino gambling is a way for a poor state to raise revenue that does not require raising taxes.

The same arguments of crime, greed and the loss of family values will be raised. But anything done to excess is harmful. Anything.

I hope we can look at this issue with a clear mind and see this as an opportunity to remove part of the burden of taxes from our backs.
