Letters: Unions would be good for SC workers

I’m a 44-year-old truck driver and disabled veteran, born in South Carolina, and I just can’t understand why people here vote against unions. Do they love low pay and the chance of getting fired because their boss might not like the way they look?

This is a right-to-work state, which does nothing to benefit workers. The people in government laugh at us: They can lure companies here with big tax incentives and low wages for us.
