Letters: We need more time on Columbia parking meters

Two-hour meters are not long enough for downtown Columbia parking. That’s barely enough time to see a movie at the Nick, with no time to shop at the Mast or have lunch at the Hub.

I would go downtown much more frequently if I wasn’t constantly worried about running out of time on the two-hour meter. If the city wants to encourage downtown shoppers and diners, something has to be done about two-hour meters.
