Letters: Higher car sales tax will hurt poor most

Wake up, South Carolinians: Our esteemed legislators are about to give the poor the short end of the stick again. Instead of paying just $300 sales tax on a car, we would get to pay $500.

Meanwhile people who can buy a $100,000 car would get to pay $500 also. Amazing.
