Letters: Why not charge ‘use taxes’ for all services?

Considering the assertion of gas tax supporters that a “use tax” is the fair and equitable solution, I wonder if they would support writing me a refund check for all the school taxes I paid since becoming a South Carolina resident in 1985. I’ve never had a child in S.C. schools.
