Letters: FBI needs law enforcement professional in charge
Having spent 32 years in state and federal law enforcement, I believe the next FBI director should be someone who came up through the ranks in law enforcement. Only someone with that experience can understand the problems faced by agents investigating complicated cases.
These agents more often only care about where the evidence leads and are less likely to be politically motivated. They want to do the right thing. Could you say the same of a politician or former judge?
