Letters: Why can’t politicians admit their crimes?

In view of all the politicians who have been indicted for alleged wrongdoing, wouldn’t it be refreshing if maybe just one would say: “Yes, I knew better, but I did it. I’m sorry and willing to take responsibility for my actions.”

As President Donald Trump would say, “Sad.”
