Letters: Columbia officials determined to raise water, sewer rates

People who went to the meeting Columbia officials held last month to talk about about proposed water, sewer and stormwater rate raises were wasting their time. The city will do whatever it wants. These meetings are a farce to trick us into participating in the increase. If the kitty had not been robbed all these years, rate increases would not be necessary. I’ve complained about the outrageous prices before; it does no good.
