Letters: Democrats have plenty of choices — all bad

Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Nancy Pelosi
Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Nancy Pelosi NYT

The Democrats seem to be having some difficulty deciding who should be the next face of the party.

Since the party has been taken over by an array of left-wing radicals, I respectfully submit the following names for consideration: their beloved Democratic socialist, Bernie Sanders; potty-mouth blatherskite Thomas Perez; Keith Ellison, who carried a Koran instead of a Bible for his congressional oath; Michael Moore, producer of trashy anti-American movies; Ashley Judd, Madonna, Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren of the “Na-a-a-a-sty Women” wing of the party; that noble and soothing voice of reason and common sense, Maxine Waters; and Nancy Pelosi, whose infinite wisdom and profound utterances are too complicated to be understood by us deplorables and astroturfs of the plebeian class.

If they can’t make a proper choice from this galaxy of stars, there’s no hope for them.
