Letters: Columbia can do better than this

Columbia needs to go back to the drawing board on its new flag (“Help pick the new flag that will represent Columbia,” June 17).

The 19 finalist designs are uninspiring, unimaginative and totally forgettable. Frankly, some of the designs are reminiscent of what might be found in a tinpot South American dictatorship. Surely the city can do better than this.
