Letters: Drug commercials are a bit much

Has anyone ever wondered when doctors have the time to see their patients? I ask in view of the saturation of commercials on TV about alphabet-soup illnesses and medicines with side effects, some fatal, that are often more numerous than the benefits. This is all presented with a happy little story with pleasant background music and a plea to ask or tell your doctor about the product.
