Letters: Voter data could be hacked, just like tax data

One reason we should be worried about the release of voter data to the federal government is the fact that negligence by the S.C. Department of Revenue led to the 2012 hacking of our Social Security numbers and personal banking information.

This is not about politics. It is about identity theft.
