Letters: Eddie could use a good bath

I recently took my granddaughter to EdVenture. She is asthmatic, so we have to be careful with things that trigger asthma. I was amazed by the dirt and dust and downright filthy conditions.

My goodness, even Eddie has a ton of dust and dirt clinging to his clothing. Surely with all the money that facility takes in, it can afford to hire a weekly cleaning crew. It’s not healthy in there for anyone, especially children.

My granddaughter had a couple wheezing episodes from all the dust. And I can imagine that other children have had the same happen to them. Isn’t there a state agency that oversees things like that? If not, there sure needs to be one, because its a shame to see a great children’s learning museum look so bad.

It was very disheartening to see all the fun areas for children looking so unkempt.
