Wednesday letters: Hillary Clinton clear choice in 2016

AP

Despite the irrational ravings of right-wing Clinton haters, Hillary Clinton has demonstrated her ability to meet and squash a whole encyclopedia of “why we hate the Clintons” questions — from the right and the left, but particularly from the right.

For 30 years, Secretary Clinton has been on the national stage serving the people of our nation and laying the foundations for a better life for all our citizens. As chair of the board of Children’s Defense Fund, as the intellectual force behind our nation’s first comprehensive health-care proposal, First Lady of America, U.S. senator, secretary of state and clear champion for full rights for women and girls around the world, Hillary Clinton has clearly demonstrated her love for America and its people, and her unquestioned ability to serve them.

All of these quintessential talents and achievements have demonstrated that she is the most qualified person to be elected president in 2016. Despite the fact that she is the person Republicans most love to hate, she stands untroubled by their demagogic attacks and intentional babbling.

We are truly fortunate to have her as our clear choice for president.
