Letters: Don’t give DC clerk my voter data

KRT

Why would state Republican Party Chairman Drew McKissick feel compelled to do something that the State Election Commission cannot do and the Russians by hacking 21 states’ voter data were unable to do: take state records to his office or home computer (as Hillary Clinton did), which I doubt has any security, and share them with the federal government?

I, like many S.C. voters, do not want my data shared with some Washington clerk (“How Trump’s fraud panel will get SC voter info anyway,” July 7).

I hope he will reconsider this data release and act in the best interest of our state rather than his own.
