Thursday letters: Jenny Sanford seeking favoritism

Why does Jenny Sanford think that being the former wife of former Gov. Mark Sanford and friend of Gov. Nikki Haley qualifies her to be president of a state college or director of a state agency?

We are a progressive state; the days of good ol’-girl cronyism are over. No other former governors’ wives seek the spotlight or favoritism.
