Letters: Bench is no place for psychiatrist

High praise to Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews for calling out Circuit Court Judge Alison Lee in the handling of the Tyreek Lorenzo Bush-Robinson case. How many crimes does he have to commit before he becomes accountable?

Judge Lee has no place on the bench. She dishes out probation more like a psychiatrist than a judge. She is a disgrace to the people she serves and should be removed. I cannot help but wonder whether race played a role in Bush-Robinson’s case.
