Letters: Liberal attacks only make Trump stronger

Many independents were unhappy that they had only the two choices for president, Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Neither one could be trusted. I believe many planned to sit out the election but decided to vote for Mr. Trump at the last minute to protest what they saw as the liberal media and pollsters trying to influence them to stay home by claiming that Clinton was a shoe-in. If Mr. Trump had gotten incriminating information about Clinton from the Russian government, it would not concern most people.

It is the same now. His constant tweeting is abhorred and disgusting. But every time moderate independents get disgusted with him, the liberal media rescue him with their constant vile attacks, and make their support for him rekindle out of protest. The media and the pollsters also are trying to convince us idiots that Mr. Trump’s approval keeps dropping. Excuse me, but aren’t these the same pollsters who projected a landslide win for Clinton?

Mr. Trump may be smarter than you think. He enjoys attention. He may have had this in mind, by design, and the liberal media are the suckers.
