Letters: If it quacks like a psychopath

President Donald Trump
President Donald Trump NYT

I could not support either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, but at least Hillary did not engage in mentally ill, psychopathic, abusive behavior without remorse.

Donald has arrogantly bragged about using his power to grope women and demeaned a war hero, the family of a deceased veteran, handicapped people and slightly overweight people. At a campaign rally, he urged supporters to punch out protestors. More recently, when he wasn't getting enough attention on Facebook, he posted a video of himself violently attacking someone at a professional wrestling event.

What makes this all the worse is that he displays no sign that he can separate right from wrong. This is what a psychopath does. Additionally, he thinks his power entitles him to do anything he wants with impunity. The public and Congress need to let Donald Trump know that he can't get away with such egregious behavior. He needs to be impeached.

When I worked at the Corrections Department for 29 years, we had two ways to deal with abusive, attention-seeking, violent inmates: We would either put them in lock-up to contain their behavior or refer them to the psychiatric unit for therapy.
