Letters: Inattentive SC lawmakers keep costing us money

Are the legislators who supported the bill that allowed the power companies to get away with robbing us ratepayers (and are now feigning surprise) the same ones who passed the Teacher and Employee Retention Incentive program thinking it would only pertain to teachers?

Look at the money these folks have cost the taxpayers by not looking at all the ramifications of the laws they pass. Does anyone else see a pattern here? Are there any more surprises in store?
