20-year-old Jordan Dinsmore survived being carjacked at gun-point. The State

Avery Wilkes’ account of the Jordan Dinsmore abduction (“How one Columbia-area college student survived a kidnapping,” July 28) left out a key piece of information: the assailants’ skin color, the most noticeable and obvious feature of any human. Had the kidnappers been Caucasian, I believe that this fact would have been hammered home at least five or six times.
