Letters: Why not report assailants’ race?
Avery Wilkes’ account of the Jordan Dinsmore abduction (“How one Columbia-area college student survived a kidnapping,” July 28) left out a key piece of information: the assailants’ skin color, the most noticeable and obvious feature of any human. I’m inferring from this omission that the assailants were black.
Had the kidnappers been Caucasian, I believe that this fact would have been hammered home at least five or six times.
