Letters: Jobs are there for people willing to work

If you are looking for a full, part-time, or seasonal job — in the kitchen, working outdoors, perhaps cleaning or painting, serving in fine dining rooms, in retail, or in technical, custodial, or physical repair businesses — there is a tidal wave of good-paying jobs opening up all across America, because illegal workers are fleeing the United States.

These fast-paced, strenuous jobs are not found staring at a phone or over the Internet. They are mutually discovered face-to-face, networking over time, applying in-person, speaking directly with the manager or owner, learning the menu so to speak, and coming dressed as you would for work.

The catches are: You can never be late to work. You cannot lie, cheat or steal. You cannot be on drugs or abuse alcohol. Your driver’s license and background checks must be in good standing. You must have safe, secure, on-time methods of getting to and from work. Most importantly, you must perform your job with a positive, grateful, honest attitude — always.

This is how the majority of passionate, American-loving, legal and illegal immigrants work.
