All the Legislature touches turns to ...

So now the Legislature is trying again to fix the state pension system. The same people who were in charge while our state fell $20 billion behind will now try to fix it. These are the same people who allowed SCANA and Santee Cooper to spend another $9 billion that has gone up in nuclear smoke and will now try to fix that.

Do we see any common denominator here?

Lucky, this same group is in charge of our education, so most of us might not realize $29 billion is a lot of money we don’t have. Maybe ignorance is bliss?
