Richland penny tax money bungled on this project
The work to reduce congestion at the intersection of Clemson, Rhame and North Springs roads is utterly ridiculous. What was needed to alleviate rush-hour congestion was a right-turn lane from Clemson to Rhame; instead, left-turn lanes were added to Rhame and North Springs.
Along with that, the two inner turning lanes are spaced so that cars turning at the same time come very close to each other in opposite directions in the middle of the intersection. This is an accident waiting to happen.
It’s hard to believe our penny tax money is being spent on such a bungled project.
