NFL players need to get some skin in the game

So the perpetual adolescents of the NFL have made their bold statement. What a bunch of overpaid prima donnas.

If they really want to make a statement, how about this: Boycott the next game, refuse to play, and when the league and /or the owners slap them with a hefty fine, make the payment of the fine a media event. But that won’t happen because all they can do is make empty gestures that signify nothing.

As for me, I’m done with the NFL.
