WENDY wasn’t a stalker after all

Twice “WENDY” appeared on my TV screen as my call blocker went to work and blocked the unknown caller. I began to wonder if there was a Wendy in my past who was returning to haunt me when the doorbell rang. A lovely young lady was standing there with a package in her hand. It contained my wallet.

She said she called twice, but when she couldn't get through she drove over with two other employees to return the wallet. I must have lost it earlier when I was at the WENDY’s restaurant on St. Andrews Road.

They say the millennium generation will be the one to save our great democracy from extinction, and now I am a believer. My sincere gratitude to these young people for their honesty and willingness to make an extra effort to return my wallet.
