Great to see Steve Scalise’s return to Congress

Fifteen weeks after he was shot, House Majority Whip Steve Scalise made a triumphant return to Congress after going through rehabilitation on his leg and knee. The Louisiana Republican survived an assassination attempt at a GOP congressional baseball practice in June. I loved his 30-minute speech to the House, and I appreciated the words of encouragement from Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Speaker Paul Ryan. I wish Rep. Scalise all the luck in the world.
