Don’t be fooled by the fake Nikki Haley

Contrary to the impression you’d get from the Sept. 25 puff piece, “Nikki Haley emerges as interpreter, megaphone for Trump,” Nikki Haley cares only about herself, her image and how to profit from it all.

She likes to paint a picture of herself as this folksy, caring person. Opportunistic and self-serving are better descriptions. If not, then why was the Confederate flag issue not important to her right before it became important to her? Why was she anti-Trump before agreeing to serve as his lackey?

While she claims to have dictated her terms to serve him, do not bet on it with someone such as Trump. She loves to claim she serves others, but she only looks for ways to serve herself — always denying it in that fake, Nikki Haley manner by saying she does not think that way.

Notice how she said she did not want to be secretary of state? That is the same style of phrasing she used when people asked her if she was going to finish out her second term as governor. Haley is willing to carry Trump’s water at the moment, but it is always with her specific interests placed first.
