Why are we still paying nuclear surcharge?

I have eagerly followed your very thorough coverage of the SCE&G/SCANA scandal. Because of your dogged reporting, even those legislators who benefited the most from their political contributions are now allegedly on board with seeking resolution. Satisfying as this has been, I have yet to see any clarity on when our bills will be adjusted to omit the 18 percent surcharge that we continue to contribute to this boondoggle.

I have been giving some consideration to adjusting my bill myself, but since that would most likely lead to loss of services from the only supplier currently available, perhaps I’ll just have to wait until the other 700,0000-plus customers come to the same conclusion.
