Friday letters: To rebuild or not rebuild seawalls

Would I like to see seawalls rebuilt at Debordieu? You betcha. I am an owner of an on-the-ocean villa at Isle of Palms. We have the exact same problems. There is a chance our villa could be rushed out to sea at any time.

That being said, do I only care about today and tomorrow, or do I care about our environment for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren? This situation is surely calling my integrity to the table.
