Tax bill steals from poor to help rich
The Trump/Republican tax reform is outright theft from our kids, our seniors, the most vulnerable among us and even our middle class. All of this to give huge tax breaks to big corporations and the super-rich. All while saddling our kids with a huge increase in the national debt ($1.5 trillion), likely forcing budget cuts to core programs such as Medicare and telling us the benefits will trickle down.
There are no reliable data to prove trickle-down economics works. In fact it was a demonstrated miserable failure in Kansas. Many millionaires are telling us they do not need this tax break and we should not reduce their taxes. Leading economists have analyzed the plan and concluded it will be a major failure: Tax cuts for average Americans will only exist for a few years at best, and then taxes will go back up to support the big tax breaks permanently being given to the super-rich and corporations.
Don’t let your kids be financially enslaved for the rest of their lives. Call your congressional representatives today. Tell them to vote no on this plan to ripoff the American people. Where did our fiscal conservatives in Congress go?
