Why is Paul Campbell still a SC senator?
I read in the news that S.C. Sen. Paul Campbell was charged with DUI and lying to the police following a Nov. 4 accident on Interstate 26.
With him being the head of the Senate Ethics Committee, he should step down, or his fellow senators should relieve him of his duties, because “ethics” is about understanding and doing what is right, and not doing what is wrong.
If he can’t determine what is or was the right thing to do after (and before) his accident, then how can we expect him to make right decisions for the Senate and South Carolina?
