Zaxby’s is just what Five Points needs

Residents and businesses have opposed allowing a drive-thru window at a proposed Zaxby’s restaurant in Five Points.
Residents and businesses have opposed allowing a drive-thru window at a proposed Zaxby’s restaurant in Five Points.

Five Points is not a “village” (“Zaxby’s decision prompts appeal,” Dec. 13). It is a white collegiate settlement on the border of a poor, minority community. There is no need for more “fine dining.”

There is a need for quality dining for the working-class budget. Zaxby’s can fill that need and will not use dress codes, hair codes or other ruses to enforce a thinly veiled whites-only policy.
