Ariail shouldn’t mock Thurmond

I usually enjoy Robert Ariail’s cartoons, but I thought his attempt at humor at the expense of a dead man was over the top.

Sen. Strom Thurmond’s supposed quote about sexual harassment, “It’s a good thing I’m daid …,” was not a bit funny to me, and I’m sure the senator’s family found very little that was funny. I hope Mr. Ariail will do better than that; there’s a lot of material without stooping so low.
