Evangelicals are giving Christianity a bad name
Eighty-one percent of Pentecostals and evangelicals voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and a large percentage for Roy Moore in the Alabama U.S. Senate race Dec. 12, after both candidates had exhibited overwhelming anti-Christian transgressions throughout their lives.
In doing so, such voters did greater and lasting damage to Christianity than any of us could envision. These so-called Christians seem to be abandoning religious teachings for political power. It is one reason many Americans are leaving organized religion in alarming numbers.
