A loss for evangelicals was a win for Christianity

Former Alabama Chief Justice and defeated US Senate candidate Roy Moore

Racist and sexist dogma have highjacked the evangelical movement. Scripture has been interpreted literally and mistakenly to sanction racism and sexism.

Where in the evangelical doctrine are the good works? We well remember the Falwells, Swaggerts and Bakkers who were ethically and morally flawed individuals masquerading as evangelicals in order to meet their sinful needs.

If America is truly a Christian and religiously tolerant nation, the defeat of Roy Moore ratifies the beliefs put forward by the Founding Fathers.

God bless America.
