Tuesday letters: Cut agencies to fund roads
In regard to the S.C. House-passed bill to raise the gas tax by 10 cents a gallon, as Ronald Reagan said, “We don’t have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem.”
Rather than raising the gas tax, why not take money from some other bloated, useless or redundant agencies to fund road construction? I’m sure there’s plenty of waste that could be trimmed.
