Friday letters: The liberal mob is destroying us

The best people agree that things in the world are getting worse.

Since Roe v. Wade in 1973, liberals in America have murdered more than 40 million people by abortion in the name of “women’s rights.” The Nazis supposedly killed six million Jews. Does that mean our enlightened liberals are at least six times more evil than Hitler and the Nazis supposedly were?

Then we have the current hard push by liberals to force everyone to accept the abomination of homosexual “marriage.” If the Lord tarries, we will likely see kindred “progressive” efforts to legitimize and impose pedophilia, incest and even bestiality. Significantly, all these perversions come in the wake of earlier reality-denying pushes for racial and gender equality.

The common theme here is a deep hatred of God for distributing physical, mental and other gifts unequally. Filled with pride and envy, liberals hate God for making people unequal. Their efforts to give creation an egalitarian makeover, in defiance of God, are causing enormous human suffering. While destroying good institutions, liberalism brings anarchy, tyranny, depravity and death.

The liberal mob chants that history is on its side. The truth is that history is providence, God is in control, and judgment is coming.
