Sunday letters: Stop all of this gun rights nonsense
State Rep. Mike Pitts, R-Laurens, and the other 89 House members who joined him have no right to endanger all of us by ending concealed weapons permits and the training they require.
People’s Second Amendment “rights” end when lawmakers’ actions put me, my family and all others in danger by this grossly stupid action. Training shouldn’t be required to carry a gun in public — concealed or otherwise?
I’m so tired of hearing people whine about “Second Amendment rights.” What about our rights?
Rep. Pitts and others like him, please start thinking before you vote for these stupid bills. Try a little common sense rather than all this gun-rights nonsense.
