Tuesday letters: Clinton has what it takes to be president

From the beginning of her career as a successful lawyer to her time as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton has developed quite enough experience to be president, perhaps more than any other candidate. With a potentially strong platform on closing the wage gap, increasing taxes for the mega rich and enforcing Wall Street accountability, Hillary is heading in the right direction. So why do these critics continue to claim it is not Hillary’s turn?

The media criticize her for being first lady during Bill Clinton’s troubling time in the White House. What they forget is that she is still human. We all get angry, frustrated, sad, upset; it’s just human nature. How she behaved in her home during a difficult time in her life is no one’s business but her own. Others just cannot bear to see a woman in the White House.

As a young woman with interests in politics, I find this absolutely absurd.
