Why are Democrats so scared of losing Roe v Wade?

The country has come to a sad place with the far-left Democrats freaking out over a Supreme Court nominee whose judicial philosophy is to interpret the law according to the Constitution.

The most serious issue for the Democrats seems to be Roe v Wade. Judge Brett Kavanaugh has shown no evidence of a vendetta against Roe v Wade.

But horror of horrors, what if it was overturned? The world doesn’t end; the issue just goes back to the states to be voted on.

That’s instead of five unelected oligarchs making the Constitution say what they want it to say instead of what it actually says. Wow: being able to vote on major social issues in a democracy. Imagine that.

But isn’t that what the far-left Democrats are actually afraid of?
