It’d be nice if Graham, Scott cared more about South Carolina than about Trump

I am disappointed, but not surprised, that Sens. Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott joined only nine other Republican senators in rejecting a resolution condemning President Trump’s tariffs.

This vote demonstrates once again how our senators put loyalty to Trump above the welfare of their constituents.

I hope people will remember this vote when they begin losing their jobs as a result of the ill-conceived tariffs. I hope people will remember this vote during the next election cycle.
