Columbia medians and roadsides are a disgrace

.
.

I have lived in Columbia my entire life and after another visit to Charlotte can not resist complaining about condition of our street medians and roadsides.

There is a three-foot weed on Beltline Boulevard at Forest Drive that has been there all summer. The medians on Clemson and Two Notch roads are a disgrace.

The beauty of our city would triple if we could find a few dollars to cut the grass.

I am sure visitors are impressed.

Go ride around Charlotte and see how streets and medians should look.

The State publishes a cross section of the letters we receive from South Carolinians in order to provide a forum for our community and also to allow our community to get a good look at itself, for good or bad. The letters represent the views of the letter writers, not necessarily of The State.
