Trump is taking out of both sides of mouth

President Donald Trump needs to make up his mind on several things. Now he’s claiming that the Russians will be helping the Democrats in the upcoming elections after loudly saying that the Russians weren’t involved in the 2016 election. He’s proudly proclaiming that the North Koreans are dismantling various aspects of their nuclear facilities — information he has obtained from the American intelligence community while bad-mouthing the same community when it tells him things that he doesn’t want to hear such as Russian involvement in the 2016 elections.

When are the Republicans/conservatives who talk so much about “accountability” going to hold him accountable for his hypocrisy? Or is accountability only for others ? More to the point, actually: When are the Republican voters going to realize that he’s taking them for complete fools? That he thinks that they’re so dumb they’ll believe whatever horse-hockey he feeds them?

The State publishes a cross section of the letters we receive from South Carolinians in order to provide a forum for our community and also to allow our community to get a good look at itself, for good or bad. The letters represent the views of the letter writers, not necessarily of The State.
