Sunday letters: Put police officers at ATM machines

After hearing about the woman who was robbed at the Dutch Square ATM, I would like to suggest a safety precaution that could prevent this from happening in the future: Get a cop on duty to supervise ATMs late at night. This precaution should be taken at every ATM that is vulnerable to criminal occurrences.

People should be able to go to the ATM without having to fear that someone will rob them. I would not want this happening to my friends or family.
