Sunday letters:Don’t block view of SC State House

I am a staunch Florentine, but like so many South Carolinians, I am proud of Columbia and especially the State House with its iconic dome.

I am concerned that a proposed 15-story building near the State House on South Main Street will diminish the vista of the State House, as has already occurred on the north side of the State House.

I urge the city of Columbia to consider restricting further high-rise structures in the vicinity of the State House.
