Monday letters: Charleston church massacre: Shootings should spur gun action

I hope that something good will come of the horror that happened in Charleston Wednesday night. Maybe the massacre will inspire our legislators to act on gun control.

They didn’t limit gun purchases and availability after the massacre of children and teachers at Sandy Hook. Maybe the fact that this terrible act occurred in a church will spur them into action.

Did they not act after Sandy Hook because it took place so far away? Well, this one’s in our state. Please, please, act to keep guns out of the hands of these crackpots.
